Director - Accessibility Resources - #000251

Job description

Posting Information: Position is responsible for providing accessibility resources and assistance to students, faculty, and staff; coordinate support services for students with disabilities with appropriate offices; provide academic, career, and personal counseling; and assist with identification of assistive hardware and software. Provide academic and testing accommodations; collect, maintain, and analyze documentation of disabilities; maintain student records and data on disabled population; and assist with identification of and response to campus barriers.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: Master's degree in education/special education, higher education administration, college student personnel, counseling, social work, psychology or related field with a minimum of three years' professional experience providing direct service to students with a wide range of disabilities within a postsecondary institution.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Accessibility Resources, strong organizational and planning skills, communication skills, computer skills, and ability to collaborate with other departments and students.
