Position Summary

The Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) provides undergraduate and graduate instruction in HDFS and advances our understanding of HDFS through the research and teaching activities of its faculty. The undergraduate program leads to the B.A. degree and the graduate program leads to both the M.A. and PhD degrees. The department faculty members maintain research programs in many different areas of focus related to HDFS. This position will directly contribute to several strategic initiatives of HDFS, the School of HHS and UNCG; it supports research, scholarship and creative activity, and it also contributes to student transformation through its sponsorship of research-related graduate assistantships. Additionally, the position will develop, grow and manage collaborative relationships with researchers in the HDFS and other related fields.

Minimum Qualifications

The minimum qualifications include: (1) PhD in clinical psychology; (2) knowledge of research/data management procedures, IRB protocols, advanced quantitative skills; (3) experience working with college-age ADHD populations; (4) experience with cognitive and behavioral therapy techniques.
