The lab manager will assist with research in socio-cognitive development (including data collection, creating/programming stimuli, data coding and analysis (with training), coordinating recruitment efforts both in-lab and off-site), supervision and training of research assistants (coordinating off-site and in-lab recruitment efforts, hiring research assistants, assigning daily tasks, writing lab manager handbooks, coordinating fingerprinting/orientation/training), and managing daily and long-term operations within the lab (handling IRBs and other research documentation, building a database of subject and local child care facilities, coordinating lab meetings, managing lab websites and newsletters, and setting up/maintaining lab equipment). Lab manager may have opportunities to co-author manuscripts, develop own research projects, and attend conferences.
Position is part-time at 80%.

Total Hours: 8-5, M-Th
Limited Appt Position, 80%
Employee must show evidence of negative tuberculosis test and clear FBI/DOJ fingerprint report annually. Employee must be comfortable working with preschool-aged children and their parents. Employee must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive to off-campus research sites.
