Apprenticeship Coordinator (Electrical)

Job description

Oversees the coordination of the four year electrical apprenticeship program at the College. Manages and schedules the multiple adjunct faculty for the program. Works directly with industry partners to recruit students. Documents hours and quality control of the curriculum as part of the State of Nebraska approved apprenticeship program requirements and accreditation compliance. Develops and manages lab spaces as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree plus three years of full-time work related experience required.  Journeyman license in Electrical preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered.  A valid driver’s license & insurability to operate College vehicles is required. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Hiring process includes a background check. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
