Procurement & Contract Services. The Buyer I provides management of multiple card (Purchasing, Travel, and Fuel) programs, including administration, training, auditing and communication with banks, the Department of Administrative Services, auditors, vendors and customer departments.

Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree; ability to obtain GA DOAS buyer certification (GCPA) within first year of employment (or pending course availability)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
Knowledge of University and DOAS policies and purchasing practices and procedures; knowledge of various products and services; high level of math
Salary Range: $35,525
