Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
Provides financial, logistical, technical, administrative and programming functions for a specialized adult learning program.
N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Must understand and be able to effectively implement the policies, procedures, and deadlines associated with this organization.
Must have knowledge of the purpose of the organization’s mission and be able to align to the mission and vision of UNCW.
Must be able to apply an understanding of information in order to extrapolate key data elements.
Ability to effectively and efficiently interface with other units within the University as well as businesses and people in the community who provide expertise in budgets and finance, University policy, and procedures.
Ability to communicate with people of all socio-economic and educational levels is essential.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Knowledge of relevant UNCW database systems used to execute budget, payment and tracking requirements of this organization to include hiring independent contractors, faculty, proper purchasing, and travel.
Understands fund based accounting and UNCW budget procedures.
Recruitment Range: $41,191 - $44,000
NC Salary Grade Equivalency: 63
Hours Per Week: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Months Per Year: 12 Months
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, flexibility required
