General Summary
Meet and confer with special education majors and potential majors to develop individual academic programs, assist student with personal, professional, and academic issues, and communicate with faculty and staff with problem solving concerning students, assist chair and assistant chair with administrative tasks, and act as ambassadors for the College of Education.

Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Minimum of 1 year of advising experience
3. Master's degree
4. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.

Desired Qualifications
1. Master's degree in education with special education teaching experience
2. Significant experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, Campus Solutions, etc.
