  • Supports supervisors, training and quality assurance specialist in coaching team members while developing their knowledge/skillset.
  • Maintains documentation pertaining to quality and training standards.
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training opportunities.
  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
  • Communicates deadlines and goals to team members
  • Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines
  • Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
  • Provides quality customer service, including interacting with students, answering inquiries, and effectively handling complaints
  • Be a subject matter expert as well as support team members on all questions
  • Work closely with other teams on projects/processes to collaborate any cross-functional impacts

  • Strong knowledge of the Financial Aid programs, including DOE Regulation
  • A minimum of four years' experience in Financial Aid preferred
  • Be in good standing with the Department of Education; No loans in default
  • Experience with WGU systems including Banner, SalesForce, and OnBase
  • Experience with ED systems including COD and NSLDS
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows OS, Word and Excel
  • Team Leadership Experience
  • Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills

  • Ability to make good decisions based on experience with federal processes.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required with an emphasis on problem solving and the ability to advise and make recommendations in an effective manner
  • Ability to take initiative on projects with little direction or support from supervisor
  • Must be well connected and able to coordinate with the team, product teams and application cross-functional groups.
