Duties and Responsibilities Summary:Serve as Webmaster/Drupal Developer that will report to the Associate Vice President of University Relations and Marketing. This position will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and coordinating all University website content and features. The Webmaster will maintain, troubleshoot and provide customer support and documentation for websites built in the University's content management system, as well as monitor, edit, and approve content submitted by other offices and departments. This position will be responsible for training the university community on the Drupal content management system, monitoring the site's positioning on search engines, monitoring for stale content, and basic SEO. The Webmaster will work collaboratively with the Office of Information Technology to facilitate maintenance of technical aspects of site. Routine reviews, implementation, updates, and remediation of site for continuity, quality, accessibility, current links and freshness of content will also be part of the position responsibilities.Other duties required will be working with AVP of University Relations and Marketing to create and maintain a website style guide; analyzing analytics to track utilization and modify problem areas; respond to feedback generated by both external and internal constituents; and monitor competitors' sites for current trends.Duties and Responsibilities:- Web application development;- Develop rich web applications and maintain existing web systems to serve the needs of faculty/staff, students, and community members;- Maintain strong understanding of front end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, and PHP;- Serve as CMS site builder, theme developer, and administrator;- Integrate third-party web systems to enhance existing web services;- CMS Administration;- Train and assist super-users/site-moderators to update site content;- Maintain up-to-date versioning of CMS and other web technologies;- Maintain CMS security patches;- Maintain user accounts and security settings; and,- Perform related duties as necessary and as assigned.

Minimum Required Education Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science, information technology or related field; an equivalent combination of education and work experience, as determined by HR, may also be acceptable. A minimum of two years of experience managing web sites, developing features, enhancing existing content, and writing and editing web content is required. Experience with Drupal CMS is desired. Candidates need to have thorough knowledge of Mac and PC platforms and content management systems such as Drupal or WordPress. Strong scripting/web development background and familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and CSS are needed; PHP programming required.

Type and Amount of Experience Needed One (1) to three (3) years of directly related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications Drupal CMS experience.
