Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Donor Relations. Incumbent plays an important role in strengthening the fundraising program for the University of Miami. The senior manager plans and executes advancement and stewardship activities designed to establish donor connections with the institution and help to deepen engagement and foster an environment that leads to philanthropic gifts. This position will play a key role in donor relations and administrative support, but may be called upon to assist with general fundraising activities or to support others. Performs other duties as assigned.



The minimum requirments are: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years business office experience required at a senior level, which may include one year of supervisory experience. Must be able to work independently and successfully complete projects and resolve problems. Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written with a high level of creativity, attention to details and superior customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access). Must have initiative mixed with good, sound judgment. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a dynamic environment. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.

Patient safety is a top priority. As a result, during the Influenza ("the flu") season (September through April), the University Of Miami School Of Medicine requires all employees who provide ongoing services to patients, work in a location (all Hospitals and clinics) where patient care is provided, or work in patient care or clinical care areas, to have an annual influenza vaccination. Failure to meet this requirement will result in rescinding or termination of employment.
