The Department of Mathematics anticipates possible openings for Assistant Project Scientists. Positions are dependent on extramural funding and research contracts of individual Principal Investigators (P.I.s). The initial position may be for up to one year, with the possibility of renewal.

The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Qing Nie on multiscale modeling and data analysis of cell fate, and will be expected to apply for research grants. Applicants must possess a Ph.D., and have a proven track record of research experience in computational systems biology, with a minimal of two years of postdoctoral fellow working experience in the similar field. A broad range of knowledge and competency in the research area of systems biology and a high level of independence are required for this position. Appointments will be effective June 1, 2018, or later.
