Assistant Professor - Research Track - Health or Behavioral Economics

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of health or behavioral economics with a focus on mental health, psychotropic medication prescribing practices and physician behavior. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.

The person in this position will be responsible for assisting other faculty at the Center for Mental Health Policy and Services Research with statistical analyses in their ongoing projects, conducting program evaluations as part of an ongoing contract with Philadelphia's Department of Behavioral Health, and developing an independent research agenda related to the implementation of evidence-based psychotropic prescribing practices. In this last capacity, the faculty member also will collaborate with faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and across the Perelman School of Medicine.
