The University of Virginia's Center for Leading Edge Addiction Research (CLEAR) team seeks applicants for a Post-doctoral Research Associate. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and perform assignments of their own initiative and with a minimum of direction. The Research Associate will be significantly involved in assisting the principal investigator in researching and applying for new sources of funding as well as writing and submitting grants to obtain the funding. The incumbent will also assist with writing and reviewing abstracts and manuscripts based on data analysis for current and future protocols, assist with clinical duties and regulatory submissions as needed, and assist the PI in selecting appropriate conferences and speaking engagements with the most impact and relevancy. Adherence to the correct formatting and familiarization with applying research references is required. The incumbent should have a positive attitude as well as enjoy contributing significantly to the research team goals.
Qualified applicants will possess a Doctoral degree and have a minimum of one year of research experience.
