Duties: The position focuses on writing stewardship letters and reports on behalf of the Dean and Vice Deans. The writer is responsible for reporting to donors on the School's endowed and term funds and when called upon, other special development correspondence. The writer will assist donor relations staff in implementing an effective donor recognition and stewardship program for the Wharton School. As such, the writer will serve as part of a team working to implement creative stewardship correspondence for top donors to provide a more impactful and personalized philanthropic experience. These donor relations efforts will have a direct impact on the School's ability to raise additional dollars from individual donors.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional writing, research, proofreading and project management skills required. Ability to adapt style and write to a variety of audiences. Strong interpersonal skills required, with high degree of competency and comfort interacting with staff and other constituents. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively as a member of a team. Outstanding detail orientation, ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks is essential. Excellent word processing skills in a Windows environment and knowledge of database and spreadsheet programs required. Willingness to staff alumni events as needed.
