RESEARCH PROJECT MANAGER A
Duties: The Project Manager A will manage the day to day operations for innovative digital health research projects within the Penn Medicine Center for Digital Health (CDH). Responsibilities include managing day to day operations of Google Health related projects, new device assessment projects, and strategic CDH outreach (e.g. internal [LDI] and external [startups, Comcast/Amtrak, Innovation Centers).
Specific tasks include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports of research projects; coordinating with the data team and outside partners for data collection, analysis and publication preparation; preparing materials for study meetings. Additional responsibilities include planning/implementing protocols; managing and conducting recruitment, screening and enrollment; responsible for IRB correspondence; supervision of Research Coordinators and Research Assistants. Meets with PI/co-PI's and/or Project Director biweekly for technical advice or to report on status of work in progress.
Qualifications: BA/BS and 3-5 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree is a plus. Strong organizational skills; comfort with new technologies and study devices preferred; experience carrying out digital health research with platforms such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Uber/Lyft a plus; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
