UK Healthcare Information Technology Services has posted the Automation Tooling Analyst I role. This position will provide Tier 1 support of ITS automation tooling incidents and requests for UK Healthcare. Primary duties include incident and request intake, documentation, and resolution problem analysis; and project task fulfillment. This position will also revise and/or develop new business processes which utilize the capabilities provided by new information technology and provide optimal benefit to the organization in terms of increased efficiency, accuracy, effectiveness, and automation of the process.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: regularly lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects over 50lbs; sitting for extended periods of time with intermittent repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally standing and/or walking with objects between 10-25lbs; occasional exposure to loud noises and/or extreme temperatures; and some job related travel.



Shift

Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional nights, evenings, weekends and holidays per business needs.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

The ideal candidate will operate effectively within a matrixed organization; have Linux experience; have experience troubleshooting software in an operational development environment; have experience with Microsoft Windows; will have demonstrated strong analytical and qualitative research experience; be well organized; have exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; have outstanding computer skills (to include Microsoft Office); and have above average customer service skills.
