This position is at the Associate Rank to be filled at the start of Fall 2018. Successful candidate will be expected to conduct research, teach students, and contribute professional service.


Applicants must have a doctorate in social work, psychology, or related field and research experience commensurate with the Associate Professor level. The College seeks candidates with a significant record of external funding, including public sector government grants and private foundation grants, in the primary research areas of child and adolescent development, learning, and cognitive development. A national reputation in this primary research domain is required.
The candidate should possess a superior publication record and demonstrate a track record of successful management of grants and deliverables. Candidates must have a history of leading and motivating research teams and working with diverse colleagues and constituents, including researchers from multiple universities, disciplines, funding sources, university leaders and other decision-makers, and the public. Research center experience is required. Demonstration of advanced-level mastery of quantitative methods is required.
