Practice Quality Administrative Nurse

The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, comprises 23 clinical and research faculty members, 11 nurse practitioners, 9 clinical fellows, and numerous academic and administrative staff, with anticipated growth in its clinical, research and education programs. Under general direction of the Fellowship Program Director, this position requires an experienced nurse having prior professional experience in the care and management of patients as well as experience in patient care quality and safety. The Practice Quality Administrative Nurse will lead the Hematology/Oncology Division's semi-annual participation in the data abstraction, submission, and re-certification processes for the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI). In addition, the Practice Quality Administrative Nurse will also serve as a quality improvement resource for clinical fellows in practice quality and patient care quality improvement opportunities, unique projects or analyses, which could culminate in academic abstract, poster, process improvement, and/or manuscript.

Salary: Monthly $6,630.67 - $9,157.42
Total Hours: Part Time
Limited Appt Position, 43%
