Training Grants Proposal Coordinator

The Training Grants Proposal Coordinator (TGPC) serves as the primary staff support responsible for facilitating the preparation of new and competitive renewal training grant applications for the NIH and other grants agencies. Under general direction from the SOM Director of Research Development, the TGPC has the primary responsibility for coordinating proposal development activities, including data acquisition, data issue identification/resolution, and production of data tables for grant proposals, the accuracy and completeness of which are critical for the success of grant proposals. The TGPC provides direct guidance and support to School of Medicine faculty and other staff regarding training grant proposal content and data requirements, develops training grants proposal development aids, coordinates events for education and outreach, develops and maintains a database of training grant data, and participates in other Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Researcher support initiatives in the School of Medicine and UCI Graduate Division as appropriate. Provides regular written report on activities to Director of Research Development.

Salary: Monthly $4,968.58 - $6,755.83
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
