Executive Assistant

Serve as the Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost, Academic Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (VPAEDI) for the Office of Inclusive Excellence providing a high level of administrative support. The Executive Assistant acts as the primary contact and liaison for all interactions involving the VPAEDI in support of day-to-day operations of the office, and the VPAEDI's relationships with on-campus and off-campus constituencies. Additionally, the incumbent prioritizes the VPAEDI's workload, manages the VPAEDI's complex calendar, telephone calls, and coordinates all travel and meetings for the VPAEDI.

The incumbent assists with drafting and review of correspondence to be issued under the VPAEDI's signature, manages the filing and records system, serves as a resource for the gathering, analyzing, and distributing of information, and coordinates special office events.

Assists in researching information and writing copy for communication projects. Independently gathers data from a variety of sources, evaluates and analyzes data, prepares detailed information and recommendations for special projects, presentations, meetings and conferences. Serves as project manager for the VPAEDI's office and coordination of various, complex projects. Handles sensitive, confidential information and requests and is responsible for briefing the VPAEDI on pertinent information.

Salary: Hourly $21.54 - $25.42
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
