Under the general supervision of the Manager, PeopleSoft, the Administrator, PeopleSoft position contributes to the management of the Enterprise Student Information System (SIS) infrastructure. The position installs, maintains, supports, and documents all modifications to the infrastructure while ensuring maximum availability. The position, in conjunction with the customer, will evaluate and determine the need for applying new application bundles and patches to fulfill compliance and security requirements, and functionality enhancements.

The Administrator, PeopleSoft is responsible for analyzing, identifying and problem resolution of issues impacting the functionality and performance of the Student Information System, and works with staff and faculty from a variety of backgrounds and experiences to resolve issues.

The Senior Administrator, PeopleSoft will have knowledge and experience in supporting and maintaining an Enterprise Student Information Systems or other comparably sized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. This position is responsible for coordinating actions among customers, operations, and technical staff.

Position may be hired at the Administrator or Senior Administrator level. Candidate will be hired at the level that is comparable to their experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Required Qualifications
Administrator, PeopleSoft (Compensation Grade B):
High School Graduation and four years of relevant work experience; OR Associate's Degree and three years of relevant work experience; OR Bachelor's Degree and two year of relevant work experience; OR Master's Degree and one year of relevant work experience.

Relevant Experience: Experience in a computer related or information system management position, preferrably within higher education; providing functional and/or technical support to an enterprise software application, preferably in an Oracle environment;

Senior Administrator, PeopleSoft (Compensation Grade C):
Bachelor's degree and four years of related professional experience, or a Master's degree and two years of related professional experience.

Related Experience: Experience in the installation, configuration and support of a multi-tier enterprise software application, preferably a Student Information System; Relational database technologies, preferably Oracle; Problem resolution, support, and documentation of technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous PeopleSoft system administration experience
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field.
