Administrative Associate II
Performs both standard and more advanced administrative duties normally under general supervision of Deans/Chairs of depts. Typical duties include performing standard secretarial and/or minor administrative duties, in addition to other specific duties as assigned/required that may include supervision of other support staff, student workers or temporary hires.
The person in this position will be responsible for managing the procurement process (vendors, ordering) for supported offices in Undergraduate Admissions: Operations, Recruitment, Marketing and Communications, Transfer and Adult Admission Services, Enrollment Services Marietta and Enrollment Services Strategic Communications Center. The person in this position will manage the departmental office supplies and all of the activities that this entails. This position will serve as liaison with Plant Operations and the Town Point management company. The person in this position will collaborate with the Business Management Team to review Enrollment Services purchases and budgets, ensuring adequate financial resources for divisional needs , especially with fiscal year-end spending.
Also, the person in this position will be required to communicate with customers and constituents internal and external to KSU Enrollment Services, specifically with University Relations (design issues and approvals), Procurement (contract adjustments), and University Information Technology Services (technology issues, recommendations, approvals).
The person in this position will perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Hiring Salary: $14.35 per hour

High School diploma or GED and 3 years related experience.
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Applicant must have basic keyboarding skills, some PC experience, and familiarity with normal office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, etc.) Will also be working with electronic time/payroll system; electronic mail system; and other technology. The applicant must have the ability to work with computers; be detail-oriented; and the ability to work with and communicate with others in a way that promotes good customer service.
It is preferred that the person in this position have familiarity with SAS, PSoft, ePro, Owl Pay, Works (Pcard), Financial Edge (Foundation Web Invoicing), Ellucian Banner student information system, Lexmark Imaging System, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint.
It is preferred that the person in this position have experience at the University level.
