IT Support Specialist

Job description

The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of IT Support Specialist.  This position is responsible for the following: install, service, and maintain all UNA purchased computers and software applications utilized on university computers; Work with fellow members of ITS staff to diagnose hardware, network, and software problems on university computers;  Be a member of a team that specializes in supporting computers for employees, classrooms, and labs on campus. 

Minimum qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent required; College course work in computer repair or related field or certifications (listed below) required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Six months work-related experience preferred; A+ Certification, Microsoft Certifications, and/or Apple Certifications preferred.
