The Educational Developer is responsible for the conceptualization and technologically based development of highly interactive learning solutions and software that target learning objectives and improves learning outcomes. Responsibilities will include designing systems and data reporting to meet curriculum and accreditation goals, collaborating on and supporting development of educational systems and training faculty on use of education technology.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology, Programming, Education or related field required and one to three years' experience with designing and developing a delivery of educational products
Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to analyze and synthesize technical content required.
Understanding of Instructional Design Principles required. Experience performing software programming functions to convert and upload content to various learning management systems required.
Experience in educational setting
The Active Learning Educational Developer is a two year position only. A six-month probationary period is required.
