Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Poole College of Management offers undergraduate degrees in accounting, business administration, and economics. At the graduate level, the College offers the Master of Business Administration, the Master of Accounting, and the Global Luxury Management program, along with masters and Ph.D. degrees in economics. The high-value, top-ranked NC State Jenkins MBA programs deliver hands-on learning that anticipates the demands of today's global marketplace, teaming up with industry leaders to immerse students in real-world projects that combine nimble thinking with innovative solutions. NC State offers the MBA full-time, part-time (evening) and online and currently enrolls about 600 students. The Administrative Support Specialist will process applications for the evening and online MBA program, work with our Technology Support Technician on Salesforce and Hubspot initiatives, and will work on special projects for the MBA program. This position reports to the Director of Admissions for the Jenkins MBA Program. The MBA program office in the College of Management administers all aspects of the full-time, part-time and online MBA programs. These aspects include marketing and recruiting, admissions, academic services and advising, student services, career services and alumni activities. The MBA program has 450 students (100 full-time, 300 part-time and 100 online students).

Essential Job Duties: Recruitment / Admissions Administration * Enter new prospects in CRM - Salesforce * Works with CRM Program Manager on Salesforce tasks (creating reports, creating campaigns, etc.) * Maintain application spreadsheet/data entry. * Track and organize all incoming application materials utilizing Apply Yourself (AY) and NextGen, and Slate. * Compile application materials and create applicant files for review. * Process admissions or denial using the online DGP decision recommendation form * Administer event management systems (Evite, Eventbrite). * Backup for CRM Program Manager (must perform work in Salesforce and complete necessary training and seminars. Employer / Student Relations * Backup for MBA Office Assistant (respond to walk-ins, phone inquiries, and emails from prospective and current students; forwards to appropriate staff when necessary) when MBA Office Assistant is absent.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Department Required Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Microsoft Office capability.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Bachelor's degree Experience with SIS, Next Gen, AY, Hubspot, Salesforce, Bronto or comparable systems
