Job description
We are currently seeking a Coordinator, Alumni Relations & Retirees Association, who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.
The Opportunity
You: You're an enthusiastic relationship builder who would enjoy working with HCC alumni for the benefit of our students.
Your mission: We'll rely on you to develop and lead an Alumni Association program that will support the Foundation/System through the creation of funding/engagement strategies aimed at identifying, recruiting and nurturing ongoing partnerships with alumni.
Your work: You'll direct fundraising campaigns and supervise alumni chapter development. As you plan the membership program, you'll take into account the database development and management the program will require. You'll direct all external marketing for the Association, including maintaining and developing the website and its various directories, and overseeing the social media sites. Planning, supervising and attending alumni events to increase alumni involvement (e.g., the annual Golden Eagle Society stewardship event) will also be a part of your role.

EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years experience working in a public relations, development, or educational institution position or related fields required.
Experience in work related fundraising/stewardship programs helpful.
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of HCC staff
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Must have a working knowledge of the following:
PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Adobe InDesign CS,
PageMaker, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, and skilled with the use of the Internet
