Supervisor, Maintenance Team (Academic Programs Learning Experience)

Position Summary

The supervisor of maintenance will lead and develop a team within WGU’s Academic Programs department. This individual will ensure industry standards and processes are applied by team members and aligned with departmental goals and objectives. The supervisor will effectively influence change in a highly matrixed organization while ensuring timelines and objectives of departmental strategies and initiatives are met in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Uses quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends in issues and recommends improvements and resolutions to management
  • Implements strategic initiatives to support projected Academic Programs growth
  • Contributes to and recommends best practices and changes in technology related to the performance of Academic Programs initiatives, making independent decisions that align with department strategies
  • Ensures overall quality, consistency, and functionality of all work by team members to ensure a high level of performance and engagement of all team members
  • Provides measurable feedback to direct reports and coaching to improve performance
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration among team members
  • Holds direct reports accountable to performance metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience in data or product management, and customer support
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems (SalesForce)
  • Experience leading teams or supervisory role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational degree in Business or Tech field
  • Experience in people management (hire/evaluate/develop)
  • Experience with data visualization, effective reporting
  • Experience in online higher education
