Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
Coordinate day-to-day activities required for the department to successfully provide customized training, open-enrollment, and online programs to clients.

N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Knowledge and experience working in continuing education
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to develop and maintain a working and professional relationship with partnering agencies, employers, program participants, faculty, staff, and the general public
Ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Proficiency in some social media platforms, as well as some UNCW systems, such as Blackboard, Banner, and ChromeRiver
Driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Master’s degree preferred
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word
Prefer candidate to have two or more years of experience working in continuing education

Recruitment Range: $37,615 - $41,794
NC Salary Grade Equivalency: 63
Hours Per Week: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Months Per Year: 12 Months
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
