Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Graduate Career Management Center (CMC) administers all aspects of the career services and activities for the graduate program. The program resides in the Jenkins Graduate School within the Poole College of Management.

Essential Job Duties: The Operations Manager reports to the Director of the Graduate Career Management Center (CMC) and has broad responsibilities for overseeing career-related technology implementations and maintenance. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with employers and providing support for instructional staff, career coaches, and students is also a key responsibility of this position. This position serves the needs of all Jenkins graduate programs, including the Full-Time MBA, Part-Time MBA, Online MBA, and the Global Luxury and Management Program. The Operations Manager is to give outstanding customer service to our corporate partners, faculty, staff, and students. Working closely with the Director for the Graduate CMC, the Operations Manager plays a key role in the overall success of the department - to include the growth of corporate partnerships, exploring new and implementing approved innovative service delivery technology, and managing the on-campus recruitment process. The Operations Manager manages the general operations relating to on-campus recruiting (OCR) career events. The Operations Manager is charged with achieving new business development targets while maintaining strong relationships with employers. The Operations Manager provides occasional input and assistance to the Undergraduate Career Center, Marketing Team, and Student Services. Other duties include: - Career Development Website Maintenance - Maintain CMC website, making changes and updates as appropriate - Manage analytics for the career website and all technology platforms - Manage annual calls and troubleshooting for all career technology - Document department procedures and keeps public drive organized and updated - Plan Jenkins CMC events (from start to finish) - Host Jenkins CMC Events (includes managing catering/setup) - Manage the CMC's Career Portal (GradLeader) - Report and Update Employment Statistics (includes AACSB and MBACSEA Stats and Internal Stats) - Support the periodic MBACSEA Audit process as required by the director - Manage all OCR and student engagements as it relates to employers - Manage student time sheets as it relates to specific internships (SBTDC & Inspiring Capital) - Create learning tools/tutorials for all graduate students to understand CMC technologies & usage - Create weekly content to market to the Full-time student audience regarding OCR/Job postings through MailChimp and WordPress - Work with all Jenkins departments to coordinate yearly event calendars - Develop a variety of marketing materials to advertise events to students - Create weekly newsletters for All Graduate student populations

Minimum Education/Experience: - Master's degree or Bachelor's degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience

Department Required Skills: Candidate must be a strong communicator who is comfortable dealing with all levels of the organization, multiple business partners within the College, as well as be a leader who can navigate the challenges of organizational change and process improvement. Additional required skills: - Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal skills to build relationships with wide range of customers - Demonstrated problem-solving, time management and organizational skills - Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Strong customer service orientation, in person, on phone and via e-mail - Strong Microsoft Excel skills (or similar software); ability to arrange and report data for program statistics - Excellent written communication skills and grammar usage, basic math skills - Proven ability to work as part of a team - Ability to quickly learn career resource software - Attention to detail - Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Minimum of three years professional experience in a fast-paced collaborative graduate-level academic environment is strongly preferred - The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with experience working in higher education organizations and in graduate business programs, specifically in an MBA Career Center. - Experience providing technical support to staff/students/customers is strongly preferred - Experience with GradLeader or other web-based career development system - Experience with social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter - Website maintenance experience - Experience in tracking accounts payable - Event planning experience
