Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Development will be responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of Arts and Sciences major gift prospects. This position will work collaboratively with the Associate Directors of Development and will report directly to a senior member of the Development team at the College of Arts & Sciences Foundation.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree.

Qualification and Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional-level, direct solicitation/fundraising experience is required. Experience in a university or major college setting is preferred. Successful track record in annual gifts, major gifts, planned gifts or comprehensive campaigns is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentational skills required. Superior written and verbal communication skills required. Working knowledge of computer-related office tools and database management required.
