Job Summary/Basic Function:
Primarily: Teaching undergraduate and graduate Business Analytics(BA)/Decision Sciences(DS) courses. Developing courses, curriculum, and/or teaching cases. Assisting students with career guidance.
Secondarily: Helping the ITDS department recruit majors and nurture, expand, and improve our relations with industry for student internship opportunities, hiring our graduates, and fundraising for scholarships and student and faculty development. Capable and interested in participating in practice-oriented research also desirable.

The candidate must have a doctorate in Information Systems(IS)/Information Technology(IT)/Decision Sciences(DS)/Management Science(MS) or related discipline to apply. The candidate must have a proven record of being an effective teacher and capable of teaching Business Analytics. Candidates must have three or more years of the college-level teaching experience in DS, MS, BA, and/or IT and three or more years of management and/or consulting experience in a related field.
Strong preference for an experienced, senior clinical professor, with discipline-specific managerial experience and five to ten years experience teaching undergraduate and graduate business analytics/information technology courses. Also one with experience developing courses, curriculum, and teaching cases, and who is also able to assist students with career guidance and helping us nurture, expand, and improve our relations with industry. Should be capable of and interested in participating in some of the practice-oriented research in related discipline.
