Teach North Texas (TNT) prepares and supports secondary teachers of mathematics and science, addressing the national and regional need for excellence and innovation in science and technology.

Job Description
The Teach North Texas Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Office Support Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Assist Student Services Coordinator with student data processing and serve as backup orientation leader for the department.
* Assist Field Coordinator with student data processing and scheduling and serve as backup contact for field experience program.
* Supervise materials checkout, field experience materials inventory, processing of SWIVL videos, direct incoming material and document request for student teaches, and monitor front departmental reception area.
* Assisting with and backup supervision of departmental student workers.
* Special Projects as needed; including but not limited to assisting with year-round preparation of materials for the induction program, TNT graduation, and Mentor Match.
* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a High school diploma and one year of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Advanced customer service skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep records, to assemble and organize data, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize assignments and tasks.
* Ability to work on confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Bachelors degree
* Office experience within an educational environment
* Experience with scheduling and material inventory
* Customer service and/or student interaction experience
