Multimedia, Video and Web Products for Conferencing and Professional Development
Designs and maintain standards compliant, accessible and usable interactive multimedia applications, web sites, videos and products for a variety of clients both within and outside the University community.
Designs, analyses, develops, deploys, installs, modifies, and supports systems that enhance productivity within CAPD. This includes gathering requirements from users, developing specifications, and writing code to support new and existing applications. Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs applications.
Designing, developing, and producing digital assets (graphics, Flash animation, etc.) and for use in electronic and non-electronic formats. Serves as the sole developer for visual enhancement and production of high-profile presentations on large format video walls, and is knowledgeable of hardware/software of extensive systems within smart lecterns relative to large-format production and editing. Utilizes consulting, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills to address problems and issues.
Learning Management Systems
Assists in management of course migration each semester. Serves as part of a team to help staff and faculty roll out and debug online courses. Designs and maintains instructional materials relating to academic technology using a variety of applicable channels including websites, tutorial videos, and blogs.
Serves as lead for the Social Media Team. Writes and adds posts, videos, and posts for social media outlets. Works with all departments within CAPD to highlight activities and events that are happening with professional development and the conference center. Researches, tests and employs new products that will be beneficial for media and multimedia purposes.
High school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience related to the duties of this position.
Strong understanding of graphic design, identity design, and branding.
Ability to present initial design ideas.
Strong user experience design.
Building brand assets and ensuring they are consistent across all designs.
Designing graphics, animations, and manipulating digital photos.
Ability to Work with different content management systems.
Ability to write copy/content.
Experience with Learning Management Systems.
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in graphic and web design.

Anticipated Salary Range
$16.00-$20.00 depending on level of experience
If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
