Responsibilities include: completion of all prerequisites for research team participation, which includes CITI Certification, training for project procedures, training in administration and/or scoring of standardized vocabulary assessments in Spanish and English, as well as fingerprint clearance to enter/access Miami-Dade County Public Schools and school-based after school care programs. Sr. Research Assistants may observe classroom instruction, administer standardized or project-developed assessments to participating students, collect and monitor forms completed by participants. These duties require all to strictly adhere to specialized procedures for secure data transfer of data files, as well as the monitoring and handling of all other data (i.e., parent questionnaires) collected for the project to protect.
Minimum qualifications: Flexible schedule is needed with some weeks requiring more working hours than others to complete the work needed for the research project; data collection may take place during the school day and/or in elementary school after school care programs; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team. Must be bilingual/biliterate (English/Spanish), with previous work experience in schools or with children preferred. Bachelor’s degree required.Apply online. Position R100022844
