COUNSELOR, ADMISSIONS & GUIDANCE SERVICES OFFICE
Areas of responsibility will include academic and career advising, counseling, new student recruitment, student data analysis, marketing assistance and other duties as assigned. The faculty member shall keep well informed in current and new developments in Student and Information Services. As an integral member of the Admissions and Guidance Services Office, the successful candidate is expected to develop effective collegial relationships, work closely with students and local employers, and promote department programs and the College in general.
MA, MEd, or MS in counseling, college student personnel, or school counseling OR MA, MEd, or MS degree with 18 graduate credits in one of the subfields listed above. Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with other people, and understanding of community college mission required.
Per Master Agreement $50,571-$62,125 base salary. Salary negotiable depending upon experience and education. Faculty contract 35-hour week, 162-day school year. Spring/Summer teaching and curriculum development opportunities may be available.
