GRANTS MANAGER A
Duties: Provide full range of pre-award technical and financial administration support to Graduate School of Education, consults with research faculty in the preparation of sponsored project budget and proposals, reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and university policies, ensure regulatory affair requirements are satisfied and that conflict of interest statements are submitted when required. Maintain overall responsibility for fiscal management of awards, provide support to faculty in fiscal matters, respond to internal and external inquiries, and apply university and school policies and procedures. Provides full accounting services, reconciling budgets, processing payroll, financial reporting, monitors grant expenditures for compliance with sponsor regulations and guidelines. Ensures compliance with university systems for certification of personnel effort. Assist in space allocation and property management.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Knowledge of university sponsored program policy practices. Knowledge of various Penn systems and governing federal regulations preferred with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have a working knowledge of Excel and infoview. Ability to work independently and meeting deadlines.
