Professional Research Assistant
The Division of Reproductive Sciences in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has a full-time opening for a motivated Professional Research Assistant (PRA) with a basic background in biology to work on projects related to molecular genetics/physiology/development of the mouse reproductive axis. Job duties include maintenance of transgenic and knockout mouse lines, DNA isolation and genotyping by PCR and Southern blot analyses. Excellent facilities are available to learn other techniques related to molecular /cell biology.

Bachelor's degree in biology or similar
At least one or more years of experience with an emphasis in the biological sciences
Proficient in basic laboratory skills
Master's degree in biomedical research or similar Experience with reading scientific literature, publishing scientific articles, scientific grant writing, and scientific presentations
