Term: This is an Ongoing appointment
The main responsibility of this position is to fill in in various positions. Including milking, moving cattle to parlor and calf feeding. Other duties may include feeding, cleaning, handling, and general care of the dairy cattle in an efficient and accurate manner. This objective level position builds off of the employees' willingness to use their experience to see and complete needed tasks on the farm. The employee will work with limited to general supervision taking responsibility for their work.
To be successful in this position you must also exhibit a positive working attitude, communicate well and develop a good working relationship with co-workers and supervisors and show initiative to see what needs to be done and to get it done.
Shifts are 10 hours per day (3:30AM to 2:00PM)
Rotate weekends and holidays
