Degree and Area of Specialization:
BA/BS in biology, entomology or related field.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
5 years of experience working in biological research laboratory. Must have previous experience with animal husbandry or insect colony maintenance. Experience handing laboratory animals and carrying out microinjections is preferred.
License or certificate:
The Bartholomay and Zamanian Laboratories in the Department of Pathobiological Sciences are seeking a shared full-time research specialist to maintain multiple mosquito colonies, parasite infections, and nematode strains.
