Advertised Job Summary
Plans, organizes, and directs administrative activities for the Director of Facilities Operations. Provides a variety of complex administrative and technical support services within the guidelines of established policies and procedures. Responsible for exercising initiative and problem solving skills in the coordination of administrative functions for the department.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.Preferred Qualifications
Three to five years experience working in a senior administrative office setting preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong communication skills required. Ability to plan, organize and accomplish work according to priorities. Ability to work on multiple complex tasks simultaneously. Strong follow-up skills. Microsoft Office application skills. Knowledge of the principles, policies and practices of office management. Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion according to schedules and goals. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to train other employees.
