Typical work hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch.

Advertised Job Summary
Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the USC campus Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) mechanical and building control systems. Operates and maintains the campus direct digital control (DDC) Central Energy Management System (EMS). Provides a highly skilled HVAC technician as the first response to resolve customer “too hot” and “too cold” service request calls.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
High school diploma and 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC mechanical and building control systems and associated peripheral devices.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
General working knowledge of HVAC Controls and EMS Systems, knowledge of mechanical equipment, pumping and steam systems, chilled and hot water systems as well as a sound of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, electrical and other related trades. Must possess good leadership abilities, good interpersonal skills and the ability to interface and work well with subordinates, peers, outside departments and other business professionals. Must show initiative and be proactive in discharging duties.
