This position will provide support for the Transplant quality program, including clinical data review, audits, data mining, compiling data into reports (using Excel, Power Point, etc.) for presentation to transplant physicians and clinical teams.
Responsibilities also include participation in various department committees and councils to provide data for performance improvement and quality initiatives; collaboration with transplant quality manager to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the databases and metrics used for quality tracking and improvement efforts; maintaining the scorecards and other reports used for Quality Improvement.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Proficient with SCM, AEHR, other clinical HER systems (i.e. PICIS), knowledge of regulatory standards, PI processes, policy, regulatory requirements, attention to detail, medical terminology.
Microsoft Office (including Excel, Power Point, Word), extensive working knowledge of electronic health records.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, effective written and verbal communication, and effective problem solving skills.

Preferred Education/Experience
BSN plus at least three years of clinical nursing practice preferred.
Transplant experience preferred.
Experience with data/quality/performance improvement preferred.
