Fordham University’s newly created Office of the Chief Diversity Officer seeks a Program Associate for Equity & Inclusion to provide leadership and actively contribute toward an innovative and collaborative vision of diversity, equity and inclusion. Working with the CDO and key campus stakeholders, the Program Associate for Equity & Inclusion will create and implement programs and initiatives that address strategic priorities around diversity, equity and inclusion. We seek an experienced administrator who will serve as a key advisor and represent the CDO on and off campus, acting also as a liaison to campus stakeholders, alumni and residents of local communities in the Bronx and Manhattan. Candidates for the position require superb administrative and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of best practices, current scholarship, emerging trends and successful initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced academic setting working with students, faculty and administrators at all levels. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a Master’s Degree preferred, in higher education, counseling, sociology, or related field. Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
