Instructor of Music (Director of Choirs)

Job description


Pay for this position is based on a nine month contract working fall and spring semesters. Anticipated start date for this position is 08/20/18.

The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline.  Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor.  The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.


This position requires a Master's Degree (in Music or other discipline) and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Music from a regionally accredited institution.  A criminal background check is required.  

Instructors for this position will be required to teach a 3 hour Music lecture course, Sight Singing, and Ear Training I-IV, and private voice lessons.  Please include as much information as possible to show your qualifications in these areas.
