The admissions counselor opening is for a full-time, entry-level position in the admissions office. Responsibilities include admissions recruitment and selection duties: travel, territory management, interviewing, public speaking and application review. Additional responsibilities include organizing and coordinating campus visit events such as open houses and counselor visit programs.
Position requirements are as follows: a Bachelor's degree; experience in undergraduate college admissions as an admissions counselor, admissions intern and/or admissions tour guide, and a valid United States driver's license. The successful candidate should have excellent demonstrated abilities to: communicate verbally and in writing, speak confidently in front of large groups, organize activities and projects, and work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse group of people in a dynamic environment.
