Student Services Program Manager II
The Military and Veterans Resource Center (MAVRC) is the first-stop for the university’s more than 1,200 military and veteran students. The MAVRC guides and supports prospective, current, and alumni student veterans of the university through: advisement, education of the resources available, and by offering a safe space for past and current service members. Additionally, MAVRC provides career counseling and placement programming, college transition orientation, campus and community education, and is the lead for all veteran-centric programming including: Veterans Week, the Corporate Partners Program, and the Military and Veteran Graduation Ceremony.
The Military and Veterans Resource Center is seeking applications from dynamic persons interested in the position of Student Services Program Manager II. The Director of Military and Veterans Resource Center, under the supervision and direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, oversees daily operations and guides the center through a well-developed vision of comprehensive support for student veterans. The MAVRC director leads UW-Milwaukee forward in providing transition, academic, and career support to student veterans while also offering high-impact educational programs for campus employees, community supporters, and corporate partners about military service and veteran issues.
