The Department of English at the University of Virginia seeks applications to fill non-tenure track Assistant Professor, General Faculty (Preceptor) positions during the 2018-2019 academic year. Subject areas of particular need include, but are not limited to, Rhetoric and Composition and British, American, and world Anglophone literature. A PhD from the University of Virginia Department of English, received between 2016 and 2018, is required. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching.
