Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities - Recruit/scout student athletes to maintain a competitive team;- Develop a good relationship with coaches and contacts of high schools, junior colleges, clubs and community sponsored groups;- Contact and evaluate local state, national and international prospective student athletes;- Conduct official and unofficial visits on campus while maintaining knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules to pass annual certification test; - Coordinate recruiting efforts with NCAA Compliance Officer as required;- Instruct student athletes during practice sessions (team and individual); - Monitor and review student athlete progress reports from professors in a timely manner, operate and organize study hall;- Follow athletic departmental procedure;- Game day set-up and management including team travel arrangements;- Set-up and download game film in a timely matter, and within regulations of conference by-laws; and,- Additional duties as assigned by Head Coach (could include, but are not limited to, team travel and structuring team activities).

Special Conditions Appointment length: 7/1 - 5/31 (11 month)
