Position Summary:
The International Division is seeking a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) to work 50% time (20 hours per week) as the Peace Corps Campus Recruiter. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable speaking in front of a large crowd, is detail oriented and is an enthusiastic supporter of the Peace Corps. The representative serves as an information source for students, faculty, staff and others interested in Peace Corps through classroom talks, general information sessions, information tables and career fairs, and a liaison to the RPCVs of Wisconsin-Madison. S/he coordinates and implements marketing and publicity for Peace Corps events, establishes regular office hours and provides administrative functions and record-keeping for the UW-Madison Peace Corps recruiting office to meet the UW and Peace Corps contract goals.
Additional Information:
Periodic evening and weekend work required.
Full appointment contingent upon US Government security clearance authorization.
One position is available at 50 % (20 hours per week) contingent upon final funding from the Peace Corps. Renewal of the position in subsequent years is contingent upon contract renewal and on-gong funding from Peace Corps.
