The Florida Center for Reading Research. Located in Innovation Park at 2010 Levy Avenue.


Correspond and meet with Principals and Teachers.
Oversee and manage the initial parent and teacher consenting process.
Hire and supervise a team of Assessors for the Fall 2018 six-week assessment window only.
Oversee and manage the remote location of the multi-year Read Aloud Research Study through the Florida Center for Reading Research at Florida State University.
Work closely with District Staff/Principals and Teachers while managing the curriculum implementation at the K-2 level.
Schedule and coordinate videotaped observations.
Schedule and meet with grade level team teacher’s bi-weekly.


Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of teaching experience.

- Ability to work independently but also as a contributing team member
Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to travel to schools in the Palm Beach County, Florida area.


Master's degree or higher and 5 or more years of teaching experience

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.

Soft Money Funded Position

This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.


This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
